Cross Country Skiing Stockholm: what to see and do

This tour focuses on learning and practicing classic cross country skiing, Sweden’s #1 winter sport. You will receive step-by-step instructions and plenty of time to practice technique, balance, and glide. The aim is not distance or speed, but confidence and enjoyment on skis.

We will see magical and beautiful winter scenery as we glide soundlessly through the forest. Combined with frozen lakes covered by snow, it’s a real winter wonderland. Our aim is always to ski on natural snow. But if snow conditions are limited, we will use prepared artificial snow tracks (similar to men-made snow produced by snow cannons in alpine skiing resorts), which provides reliable skiing conditions and are ideal for learning.
